We probably don’t think about it very often but our kids are constantly watching us particularly when the are young and into their teenage years. We should be very careful as to what we expose them to.
When Jesus walked the earth he set the perfect example of how we should live our lives. Of course we could never be exactly like him but we should strive for perfection in our daily walk.
It’s important that our children have an opportunity to make an informed decision in regards to the gift of eternal life that God offers us at no cost. Let’s make sure that we are examining our lives to see if we are attending church on a regular basis, going to bible study to enrich our mind in God’s word and to give back by giving a portion of our earnings on a regular basis of which we have been blessed with.
It is very hard for our children to experience all the wonderful things God has in store for them if we are not being good examples for our children. Share God’s plan with your children as it was shared with you.
Remember someone was a positive example for you “Believer in Christ”.
God Bless,
Todd

There is an awesome song on the radio right now that has been played quite often since it’s release by Dewayne Woods on Christian and R&B stations “Let Go Let God”. To listen to this song immediate brings comfort into one hearts for the struggles they may be going through at that very moment.
I ask that as you go through your trials and tribulations that you use this song as one of the tools in your arsenal to deflect Satan from exploiting your weaknesses and keeping you from letting go and letting God.
Remember if we truly let it go then God can work the impossible out in our lives. Personally there has never been anything to big for God to fix in my life. If you recall in the Bible time and time again God demonstrates to us that if we let go he will make a way. If we trust in him he will deliver. Does the parting of the Red Sea to assist Moses to deliver God’s people to the promise land ring a bell. Does David verses Goliath ring a bell. Or how about Job and the challenges he faced and how God restored him.
Give him a try and in his time (and he’s never late) (remember the raising of Lazarus from the dead) and he will make it allright.

Most of us never give it much thought how wildlife is fed on a daily basis. Sure we watch Animal Planet and other shows depicting animals in their natural habitat but do we really get it.
What I am trying to share is that God provides all our needs right down to feeding the birds everyday. Birds don’t worry where there next meal is coming from they instinctively know that worms, bugs and bounty of other insects have been made available to them everyday for nourishment. Birds are provided for in all seasons. Finally birds have faith and confidence we should strive to achieve. They never give flight a second thought 20ft or thousands of feet off the ground that there wings will not carry them.
Knowing that God feeds the birds everyday without failure he will also provide for you. Knowing that if our God can sustain a bird in flight he can sustain you during your time of sorrow. Knowing that God has instilled confidence in birds that we should be able to reach deep down inside and display confidence that he will provide for us.
If God can feed the birds why not let him feed you with his word.

Todd

I am sure that everyone knows someone or has seen a home in there neighborhood that probably has a for sale sign and foreclosure sign on the property. You probably reflected for a moment if you knew the person as if they had died. If you didn’t know the person you probably just wondered how did they loose there home. These have been very trying times for those affected directly and indirectly.
I understand that we must all have shelter but it is important that our shelter or our homes if you will do not become our idols. Remember that when we are called home all of our earthly belongings will be left behind including our homes.
If you have lost your home know that God will restore you and that he has a plan for you. Never stop trusting or believing in him because as we know all things are possible through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Please find comfort that once we have been judged and our names have been located in the Book of Life the home that God has for us no one can ever take away and that it is yours to enjoy in his name forever.
God not only has a home for you but more importantly he is ready to give the gift of eternal life for those that call on him.
Here to Serve,
Todd

As you know most radios in vehicles come with preset buttons to allow you to save your favorite radio stations. Of course there are numerous stations to choose from such as Rock, Jazz, Blues R&B etc.
The question of the day is do you have any Christian radio stations saved as some of your favorites on your car radio. We unfortunately can recite the words to many of our favorite songs but are our memories just as sharp when it comes to singing along with gospel music.
We should always be on guard as to what we listen to and allow to enter our minds. Remember Satan never takes a day off and he is always trying to find ways to spread his message one of which is through music. I myself am guilty of this as well and it is something that I have to monitor so as not to fall prey to his tactics.
I challenge everyone to preset their favorite Christian radio station so that you always have a direct link to Christ when it comes to listening to his music and sermons as you commute and take trips in your vehicle.
Remember we should have a preset stations to Christ just as HE has infinite radio preset buttons of love in his heart for all of us.
God Bless,
Todd

Carol Stream, Ill., January 24, 2008 - In an interview with Christianity Today, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama cited several issues in which he believes his stances would be viewed favorably by evangelicals. This is the third interview Christianity Today has conducted with the 2008 presidential candidates.
· On reaching evangelicals:
“Evangelicals have come to believe oftentimes that Democrats are anti-faith. Part of my job in this campaign, something that I started doing well before this campaign, was to make sure I was showing up and reaching out and sharing my faith experience with people who share that faith.”
· On abortion:
“I don’t know anybody who is pro-abortion. I think it’s very important to start with that premise. … Our goal should be to make abortion less common, that we should discourage unwanted pregnancies and encourage adoption wherever possible. … I think the state can legitimately say that we are prohibiting late-term abortions as long as there’s an exception for the mother’s health.”
· On his faith:
“I am a devout Christian. I believe in the redemptive death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I believe that that faith gives me a path to be cleansed of sin and have eternal life. But most importantly, I believe in the example that Jesus set by feeding the hungry and healing the sick and always prioritizing the least of these over the powerful.”

(UNDATED) Does a candidate’s declaration of faith provide any indication of how she or he would govern as president? The past half century suggests strongly that the answer is no. We Americans think of ourselves as a religious people, so it should come as no surprise that politicians clamor to speak the language of faith. Those affirmations turn out to be, more often than not, shallow and perfunctory. But placing the blame on the candidates misses the point. We the voters settle for shallow, perfunctory bromides about faith and piety. We allow candidates to lull us into believing they are moral and virtuous simply because they say they are.
